The church painting group was formed in January 1994. Membership at the start was about 20 people, which has now risen to 30 plus.
The group members are of various ages and meet in the church hall on a Tuesday evening between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. The group has a very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere and it makes no difference whether or not you are already an experienced painter or if you are someone who wishes to start painting for a hobby.
A warm welcome would be given to anyone that wishes to come along on a Tuesday evening to see what the group is all about.
Each member chooses to paint in different mediums whether it is in oils, acrylic or water colours and is expected to provide their own equipment once they decide to join the group.
In July the group hold their annual exhibition that takes place in the church hall, this is always well attended.
