October 2025

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for sharing in my birthday celebrations  To see so many of my friends and family was a humbling experience and a big thank you to my nieces, not only for the birthday party, but also the surprise holiday,

As I write my contribution to the monthly newsletter, I am reminded of how quickly we are moving through the year.  Here are some dates for your diary:

Thursday, 9th October at 7 pm – Church Council meeting.  Sunday, 12th October is our Harvest Festival Service at 10.30 a.m.  There will be no Ploughman’s Lunch after the service this year.  Monday, 13th October – Christmas Fair planning meeting.  Saturday, 8th November  – Craft and Gift Fair.

Can I thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers over the last few weeks through my recent illness.  I am slowly getting better, but your prayers would be much appreciated.

With love and blessings to you all,

Glynis

A NOTE FROM SANDRA

Just a note to thank you all for your cards, flowers and kind wishes during my hospital stay.  When I was in a very dark place and too ill to even pray, I was comforted by the knowledge that you were all praying for me.  I give God the praise and glory for answered prayers for my recovery and continued healing  As I recover and grow stronger I look forward to being in fellowship with you all again;  a fellowship which I feel privileged and blessed to be a part of.
